About Us
Our Roots
African Diasporic Arts and Education Inc. is a dynamic cultural organization dedicated to the celebration and preservation of African and African diasporic artistic expressions. Building upon the rich legacy of its flagship performing arts company, Orisirisi African Folklore, which has a distinguished history in performing arts and arts education, the organization seeks to enrich the community through captivating performances and educational outreach.
Our primary goal is to present and contextualize a diverse array of African and African diasporic fine and performing arts encouraging audiences to explore the profound commonalities that exist within these cultures. By fostering a deeper understanding of cultural identities and artistic traditions, we aim to illuminate the shared experiences and histories that transcend geographic boundaries.
